The LandWell Company is the long-standing land investment and development arm of Basic Management, Inc., which has successfully developed more than 1,200 acres of retail, light industrial, commercial and residential projects in the Henderson area. The company’s successful projects including Black Mountain industrial Center, Valley Auto Mall, Traverse Point, Entrada, Champion Village and Emerald Valley.
The company was formed in 1992 and is currently headed by President Lee Farris, who is taking the lead with the development of Cadence, a 2,200-acre planned community off Lake Mead Parkway in Henderson, Nev. The LandWell Company purchased the 2,200 acres of land in 1992 from Basic Management, Inc.
LandWell’s long held dream has been to remove the blight from this site and breathe new life and energy into the area. The City of Henderson is supportive of this vision.
A world-class team is assembled and includes a diversity of experts charged with the task of coordinating, developing and completing various aspects of this exciting project. The team includes land use planners, engineers, wildlife biologists, geologists, hydrologists, chemists and others, led by Dr. Ron Sahu, a leading expert in the field, with extensive experience and numerous industry certifications. The LandWell Company has a significant investment in Henderson and cares about Henderson’s future. It has made significant contribution to the community in the form of land donations to The Lake Mead Christian Academy, The City of Henderson, Opportunity Village, The Public Education Foundation and others. Believing education is the foundation for a successful future, LandWell has provided college scholarships to math and science students for more than 25 years.
